Dr. David Lee Hill, Jr.
Dr. David Lee Hill, Jr. is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is passionate about providing his patients with outstanding care. He has extensive experience in dental implant surgery and hard and soft tissue grafting procedures, and is dedicated to his clients’ comfort and to achieving long-lasting solutions for their oral surgical needs.
Prior to establishing his Dental Implant and Oral Surgery practice in Chapel Hill, Dr. Hill completed a four-year residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of North Carolina. He also completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospital and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia University.
Dr. Hill served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UNC-Chapel Hill and has participated in numerous volunteer projects providing dental and oral surgical care to under-served populations in the United States and abroad. He is also in his 11th year as a faculty member of the Pikos Institute, a world-renowned learning center for 3D based dental implant surgical courses.
Dr. Hill is dedicated to the newest advancements in CT-guided implant surgery and keeps up-to-date with the latest practices and technologies through an ongoing commitment to continuing education. Since 2011, he has served as the Director of the Chapel Hill Comprehensive Study Club, an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club.

Dr. Hill is an active sportsman, a deep sea fisherman, a cyclist, and an enthusiastic UNC Tar Heel fan. He enjoys spending time with his family, his wife, Olivia, and his son Rémy Oliver.
